The Dirty Secret

When asked why? Many people reply: “well I maintain a plant based diet for my health, for the environment and/or for the well-being of all animals.” Apparently Veganuary is a “thing.” I like things with a purpose, especially when that purpose combines annoying people with facts for a good cause. This month let’s highlight reasons to jump into a plant based diet.

One reason that encompasses all three goals alone can justify the leap to a plant based diet and that is the Beyond Burger. Delicious & Nutritious packed with more protein than the cow flesh burger. A lot of people wonder how vegans get their protein and the simple reply is a good old fashioned burger with a Beyond Beef patty (or similar patty such as the Impossible Burger, a patty that comes in at a whopping 27 grams of protein per serving). The proof is in the pictures; tastes great, better for the environment, better for the consumer’s cardiovascular system, and doesn’t require the enslavement & torture of an entire species.
